Functional

Functional storage includes the currency preference key (`eye-rizz-currency`) so selected currency is remembered between visits.

The email-guide prompt uses local storage to remember a temporary dismissal or that a confirmation request was submitted. This prevents repeated popups; it does not grant email consent. A secure, HTTP-only welcome-offer cookie may remember an offer activated from an email link for up to 15 days.

Email is a separate choice

Resend email consent and Topic preferences are stored in eyeRizz records, not inferred from analytics or marketing-cookie consent. Accepting cookies does not subscribe you to email, and unsubscribing from email does not change cookie settings.

Analytics and marketing

Analytics and marketing categories are off by default in opt-in regions and controlled through cookie preferences. We do not load Vercel Analytics or PostHog until analytics consent is granted in those regions, and we do not load marketing pixels or send marketing events until marketing consent is granted in those regions.

Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, Eye Rizz loads Vercel Analytics to measure aggregated page views and product usage. Vercel Analytics is not loaded when analytics consent is not granted.

We also load PostHog when analytics consent is granted, to see which steps of the mosaic-creation flow visitors complete or abandon, and to record session replay and heatmaps of on-site behavior. PostHog masks form field input by default, so typed text is not captured in replays. PostHog is not loaded when analytics consent is not granted.

You can revoke analytics consent at any time from Cookie settings. When analytics consent is off, Vercel Analytics and PostHog are not loaded for future page views.

Region-based defaults

If you are in the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland, a blocking banner asks you to accept or reject optional cookies before they load. Dismissing the banner with the close control hides it for the session but does not enable analytics or marketing.

In other regions, analytics and marketing may be enabled automatically on first visit without a blocking banner. When your region cannot be detected, we use the opt-in default instead.

Marketing

If you accept marketing cookies, Eye Rizz may load Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms to measure ad performance, track conversion events, and support retargeting. Meta may set identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc after consent is granted. When you complete checkout with marketing consent enabled, we may also send a matching server-side purchase event to Meta using the same deduplication identifier as the browser pixel. Server-side events are not sent without marketing consent.

You can revoke marketing consent at any time from Cookie settings. When marketing consent is not granted, Meta Pixel is not loaded, new Meta Pixel events are not sent, and new server-side Meta purchase conversions are not sent.
